Yesterday, Darrell and I ordered our new checks for our account, and a check cover as well as some address labels. They are so cute! I am going to see if my dad will put pictures of them up on here, so you can see them, because they are so us. They are called Barnyard Buddies, w/ tractors and farm scenes and such!!! So cute!!!
Saturday, Darrell and I went to my bank so that I could change my name and address on my account, plus I had him added to it, so that we could now have a joint account. Once we get our new checks, we are going to be closing his account, and just have our one!!
Last Wednesday, I went to the social security office in Aurora. (I got to leave work early!!) I filled out the forms and showed them our marriage license copy, and so now I should have my new social security card, 2 weeks from last Wednesday!!
My friend, Melissa, did the most amazing powerpoint presentation of our wedding. She put it to music, and used pictures from everything including, my bachelorette parties, our wedding shower, the rehearsal, the wedding and reception, the day after, and our honeymoon. It seriously made me cry, and Darrell got a little weepy as well! She even used songs from the wedding and used old pictures as well. It’s too big to send through email, it is on a cd, but, if anyone would like to see it, let me know, and we can work something out, so that you can come over or we could bring it to you!!! It truly is wonderful!!! Thanks, Melissa!!!
So, just to let everyone know, I think I am holding off on sending the thank you cards, until the professional photos are up online. Unfortunately, I still don’t know when that will be, but it’s got to be soon! Just wanted everyone to know!!! Thanks!!

My dad got up all of the bachelorette party photos, the shower photos, the day before the wedding photos, photos from the wedding ceremony and the reception, the day after photos, honeymoon photos, and pictures from the day we got back from the honeymoon. This weekend, Darrell and I also put all of our honeymoon pictures in the album we bought, it has a palm tree on the front! If anyone wants to see them let me know!! I’d be glad to show anybody and everybody!
We received the little cards that we will be putting in each thank you card with the password to see the photographers pictures. However, they aren’t on his website yet, so we will keep you posted as to when that happens. When it does I will put the password on here as well!
I wrote every single thank you card this weekend! I had to keep stopping though because it really made my hand hurt! They won’t be mailed out though until a week from today because I have to get the labels from my dad this weekend!!
Right now my mom is currently working on getting a wedding announcement in the paper @ Elmhurst College, while my dad and me are currenctly working on getting one in the Daily Herald! I’ll post it when it should be in there!!!
I emailed our videographer to find out how soon we would be getting our 4 DVD’s, 3 edited and 1 unedited. He said it would take 6-8 weeks! That seems so long, but it will be worth the wait when we get to relive our wonderful day!!!
